Susan has practiced law for over 30 years, representing local governments in Colorado, Idaho, and New Mexico.

She has handled numerous land use/zoning litigation cases and has assisted in land use development applications. Susan has also represented families in divorce, child custody, and child welfare.

She has been an appellate lawyer in a wide variety of matters and has volunteered extensively for nonprofits focused on domestic violence prevention, at-risk youth, environmental protection, misdemeanor criminal matters and historic cultural

preservation.

 She has also worked both as a prosecutor and public defender.
